The facility located at our sister company Greenway’s Liverpool site, utilises the best available technology (BAT) on the market and is the only aerosol recycling solution of its kind that meets stringent regulations on hazardous waste disposal, worker safety, and greenhouse gas emissions.

Our aerosol recycling plant avoids traditional methods of disposal, including shredding, crushing, and incinerating, and greenhouse gases are released into the atmosphere. The facility removes the propellant from the liquid into separate containment, then compresses and transforms the propellants into purified liquid fuels to be reused as an alterative fuel, and the cans are compressed into metal bricks for onward recycling.
